In most cases, servicing with an independent workshop does not void your new-car warranty, thanks to South Africa's Right to Repair guidelines (2021). We keep a written record of every job.
Signs you need it
- Your service interval is due by date or kilometres
- A service reminder is showing on the dashboard
- You bought a used car and do not know its service history
- Oil is dark, low or overdue for a change
What we do
- Service to your manufacturer's schedule
- Oil, filters and fluids as the schedule requires
- Inspect brakes, tyres, suspension, belts and leaks while the car is in
- Film anything that needs attention and quote it separately, so nothing is added without your approval
What it costs
Labour is R650 per hour and is quoted before we start. Parts are quoted upfront and paid before we order them. If we need to find the fault first, a diagnostic is R450 and is credited to your repair if you go ahead. Every repair carries a 3-month guarantee on parts and labour.
How it works
- 01
WhatsApp us.
Tell us what the car is doing. A voice note or a video of the noise helps.
- 02
We diagnose and send you a video and a written quote.
You see the actual fault on your actual car, with the price next to it.
- 03
You approve.
Nothing gets done until you say so.
- 04
You collect your car.
Your old parts are offered back to you, and the repair carries a 3-month guarantee on parts and labour.

Questions about servicing
Will servicing at AM AutoHaus void my warranty?
In most cases, no. Under South Africa's Right to Repair guidelines (2021) you can service your car at an independent workshop. Check your own warranty terms, and keep the written service record we give you.
Do you service all makes?
Yes, all makes. Send us the make, model and year on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you come in.
Will you add extra work without asking?
No. Anything extra is filmed, quoted and only done once you approve it.
